The Georgetown G-Men's found some homefield redemption this week after a tough overtime loss to the Bethel-Tate Tigers on Monday. Georgetown walked away with a 42-33 win over East Clinton. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Georgetown also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
Lizzy Cahall was the offensive standout of the matchup as she scored 11 points along with six rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Emily Bertram, who scored four points along with two steals.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Georgetown will take on New Richmond at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. New Richmond has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 20. As for East Clinton, they will be playing at home against Blanchester at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Ohio (Blanchester is ranked 730th, while East Clinton is ranked 725th).
