This season hasn't been kind to The Canoga Park Hunters, who are still winless after their ninth match. They and Reseda were almost perfectly matched up on Thursday, but Canoga Park suffered an agonizing 24-23 loss. Canoga Park was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Reseda apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.
Despite the defeat, Canoga Park had strong showings from Dallas Lakey, who rushed for 129 yards and a touchdown, and Anthony Medina, who rushed for 20 yards and a touchdown.
Canoga Park's defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 0-9. As for Reseda, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Canoga Park will square off against Panorama at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. As for Reseda, they will head out on the road to face off against San Fernando at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. San Fernando will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
