Gabe Kechter made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Wray is 4-1 when Kechter posts two or more runs, but 3-9 otherwise.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Grady Godsey, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.
