Princeton was the 3-0 winner over Paradise Adventist Academy when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell 3-1 to the Cougars on Monday. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

While Princeton ultimately came up short, they really made Paradise Adventist Academy work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 23-25, 25-22, 25-20.

Reyna Sullivan paced Princeton's offense, picking up eight kills. Sullivan got some help from Guadalupe Espinoza and her 17 assists. Finally, Madelynn Winn kept Princeton's defense grounded, leading the team with six blocks.

Princeton's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Paradise Adventist Academy, they pushed their record up to 13-5 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Princeton will head out to take on Plumas Charter at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Paradise Adventist Academy, they will face off against CORE Butte at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
