Ocoee scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Hagerty as Ocoee made off with a 92-67 victory. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Ocoee's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Justin Smith, who scored 23 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Smith has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Justynn Thomas, who went 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 23 points and 2 assists.
Apopka suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Wednesday. They were beaten by Olympia 67-30. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Apopka has scored all season.
Ocoee is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Apopka, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.
