A Season-Best Performance from Shane Marshall Leads Irwin County over Charlton County
Irwin County was led to victory by Shane Marshall, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Marshall rushed for 230 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also picked up 59 receiving yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 68 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Turner County's seven-game losing streak dating back to last season is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Curtis Grant. Grant was dynamite on Friday, rushing for 196 yards while picking up 10.9 yards per carry.
If history really does repeat itself, Grant might just drop another big game when he faces off against Clinch County on Friday. Grant picked up 77 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 41 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Panthers duked it out back in October of 2023.

Irwin County Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Luke Snyder
Luke Snyder's big game helped extend Irwin County's winning streak to seven on Friday. Snyder turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 60 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, while also throwing for 168 yards and a touchdown on only 12 passes.
For the season, Snyder has thrown 11 touchdowns while averaging 104.7 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had three rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to seven.
