Meanwhile, North Miami Beach came up short against Dr. Krop on Friday and fell 46-35. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for North Miami Beach in their matchups with Dr. Krop: they've now lost four in a row.
Despite their loss, North Miami Beach saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Laila Henderson, who scored nine points along with ten rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. Henderson scored a full 25.7% of North Miami Beach's points, the seventh time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Vanejia Bryant, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Edison's victory bumped their record up to 1-2-1. As for North Miami Beach, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
