While Hinton's victory against Seiling wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Comets had just enough and edged out the Wildcats 9-8 on Thursday. That's more bragging rights for the Comets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The win made it two in a row for Hinton and bumps their season record up to 7-12. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Seiling, they moved to 9-4 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hinton will take on Hydro-Eakly at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bobcats will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last. As for Seiling, they will square off against Fargo/Gage at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats are facing the Bearcats at the right time seeing as the Bearcats are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
