The Mooreland Bearcats lost to the Turpin Cardinals  last Saturday, but the Mooreland Bearcats didn't allow the Turpin Cardinals the same satisfaction on Thursday. Mooreland secured a  59-53 W over the Cardinals.
 Several Cardinals players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Bryson Parker, who  scored 19 points along with four  steals. Parker has been hot recently, having posted two or more  steals the last eight times he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jhett Huffman, who  scored 15 points.
 The  victory  got Mooreland back to even at 8-8. As for Turpin,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 11-8.
 Mooreland is on the road again  on Friday and plays the Eagles at 1:00  p.m.  on January 26th. Watonga has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 246 points over their last four games. As for Turpin, they won't have much time to rest: their next  match is against the Tigers at 8:00  p.m.  on January 26th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked  in Oklahoma (Laverne is ranked 213th, while the Cardinals are ranked 195th).
