It was a good run, but the Martin L Olson Lynx unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 49-41 to Brevig Mission. Martin L Olson was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Brevig Mission apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played on Friday.
Brevig Mission's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rosie Tocktoo, who scored 15 points. That's the first time this season that Tocktoo scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mary Bruns, who scored 13 points.
Martin L Olson's defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-1. As for Brevig Mission, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 3-1.
Martin L Olson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Brevig Mission also has no future games currently scheduled.
