Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Saxony Lutheran). Everything went their way against the St. Vincent Indians on Tuesday as they made off with a 15-2 win. The Crusaders haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Zach Roth made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. Roth was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Korby Engert, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI and three runs. Brayden Moore was another key player, scoring four runs while going 2-for-4.

Saxony Lutheran always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .647. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Saxony Lutheran now has a winning record of 5-4. As for St. Vincent, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-4 record.
