It's playoff time, and Gulf Breeze had no trouble coming through when it counted. They won by a run and slipped past the Chiles Timberwolves 5-4. The win was some much needed relief for the Dolphins as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

Roman Jackson was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Gulf Breeze's victory bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Chiles, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-12 record this season.

Gulf Breeze will have a chance to go back-to-back against Chiles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
