The Encampment Tigers lost against the Southeast Cyclones back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Encampment received a tough blow as they fell 44-30 to the Cyclones. Encampment has not had much luck with the Cyclones recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Southeast found their leader in underclassman Kaycee Kosmicki, who scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kosmicki has scored all season. Baylie Booth was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five assists and five steals.
Encampment has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. As for Southeast, they pushed their record up to 12-2 with that victory, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Encampment won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Longhorns at 11:00 a.m. on January 27th. Rock River is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games. Southeast is on the road again on Tuesday and plays the Doggers at 4:00 p.m. on January 30th. Lingle-Fort Laramie has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 186 points over their last three matchups.
