Kaleb Freeman Delivers Best Performance of Season
Kaleb Freeman produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Pleasant Grove to the win on Friday. Freeman threw for 240 yards and five touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 32 yards. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August of 2023. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played.
The win (which was Pleasant Grove's seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-1. Freeman and Pleasant Grove will venture away from home to face off against Bibb County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Performance from Justin Murray Leads Fairfield over Bibb County
On Friday, Fairfield got the W thanks in part to Justin Murray playing the best football he has all season. Murray rushed for 86 yards and three touchdowns, and also picked up 44 receiving yards.
Fairfield is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Murray and Fairfield will be playing in front of their home fans against Oak Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Tremell Washington Delivers Electric Effort Vs West Blocton
Tremell Washington's big game helped extend Pleasant Grove's winning streak to seven on Friday. Nobody could stop Washington as he picked up 146 receiving yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 31 yards.
For the season, Washington has caught 13 touchdowns while averaging 125.1 receiving yards per game.

Hamilton Came Up Big in Fairfield's 30-28 Victory
The second Fairfield player making an appearance here is Jumaria Hamilton, and for good reason. He rushed for 93 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble and making six total tackles.
On the season, Hamilton has thrown 15 touchdowns while averaging 162 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after eight games last season, he had four rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to nine.

Collin Moore and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Pleasant Grove picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Collin Moore. Moore turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 198 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.9 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his tenth straight game with at least 105 rushing yards dating back to last season.
This year, Moore has run in 13 touchdowns while averaging 148.4 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had seven rushing touchdowns.
