Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Lincoln County Red Devils walked away with it. They breezed by Wilkinson County on the road to the tune of 41-0. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Lincoln County had established a 35 point advantage.
Leading Lincoln County to victory were Semaj Jenkins and Mekhi Wade. Jenkins rushed for 49 yards and two touchdowns, while Wade threw for 64 yards and a touchdown while completing 100% of his passes.
Lincoln County is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Wilkinson County, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-5.
Lincoln County will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Schley County at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. Schley County will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line. Wilkinson County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
