Grace Christian School got themselves on the board against The Carmel School on Thursday, but The Carmel School never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 10-0 win. This was payback for the Kings, who suffered a 12-6 loss the last time these two teams met.

Grace Christian School got a big performance out of Isiah Ignace, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-1. The team also got some help courtesy of Noble Gladden, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Grace Christian School always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .688. The last time their OBP was this high was since the start of last season.

Grace Christian School now has a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grace Christian School will challenge The Covenant at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for The Carmel School, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Randolph-Macon Academy at 4:00 p.m. on the 31st.
