South Cobb lost against Paulding County back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles fell 2-0 to the Patriots. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Samira Washington paced South Cobb's offense, picking up five kills. Washington got some help from Nikaiya Wilson and her six assists.

South Cobb's loss dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Paulding County, their victory bumped their record up to 12-25.

South Cobb wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Osborne on the 9th. Hopefully Paulding County paid attention to the Eagles' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Eagles at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
