Natalia's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Yahdi Lujan, who scored 15 points along with 4 steals. Lujan scored a full 46.9% of Natalia's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Fulton, who scored 9 points along with 5 steals.
Natalia now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Thorndale, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.
Natalia is on the road again on Friday and play against Falls City at 8:15 a.m. on December 8th. Falls City is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games. As for Thorndale, they will face off against Pleasanton at 3:35 p.m. on Friday.
