 Meanwhile,  Westlake played a tough  game  on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through  a    43-13 loss at the hands of Rocky River. The Demons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  28-6.
 Normandy's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Westlake, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
 Normandy didn't have too much breathing room in their  matchup against Westlake  in their previous matchup  back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with  a  24-20 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Invaders since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
