While Wheeler's win against Lake Station Edison wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bearcats skirted past the Fighting Eagles 7-6. The Bearcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Fighting Eagles on Monday, too.

The team relied heavily on Nick Micciche, who earned two RBI, one run, and two stolen bases.

Wheeler moved to 7-10 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Lake Station Edison, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-9 record.

Wheeler will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Fighting Eagles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
