It was a good run, but Salem unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Sacred Heart Crusaders by a score of 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Wildcats have suffered since February 8th.

Salem's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 9-9. As for Sacred Heart, they pushed their record up to 10-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Salem will host Resurrection Catholic at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Sacred Heart, they will be playing at home against East Marion at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
