There's no place like home for Notre Dame Prep, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. Everything went their way against the University of Detroit Jesuit Cubs on Monday as they made off with a 9-2 win. The Fighting Irish not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 26th (when they won 10-0).

Notre Dame Prep pushed their record up to 9-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for University of Detroit Jesuit, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Notre Dame Prep will challenge Kearsley at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for University of Detroit Jesuit, they will venture away from home to challenge Cabrini at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
