On Saturday, the Bossier Bearkats faced the Calvary Baptist Academy Cavaliers in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Bossier fell just short of Calvary Baptist Academy by a score of 66-64. Bossier's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bossier will stay at home for another game and welcome Wossman at 7:30 p.m. on January 12th. Calvary Baptist Academy will take on Ruston at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ruston knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven matches -- so hopefully Calvary Baptist Academy likes a good challenge.
