Cardinal Gibbons' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Cash McSweeney led the charge by dropping a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Smalls, who scored 18 points along with five assists and four steals.
Cardinal Gibbons pushed their record up to 9-5 with that win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points per game. As for Leesville Road, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.
