The Glenn Bobcats will take on the Forsyth Home Educators Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Glenn came out on top against Mount Tabor on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run fifth inning. The Bobcats were the clear victors by a 14-1 margin over the Spartans. The victory continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won eight in a row.

Addyson Irving made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Irving was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with six RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Brooklyn Hardin was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Ryleigh Stewart, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.
Glenn always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .543. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mount Tabor only posted an OBP of .111.
Meanwhile, Forsyth Home Educators made easy work of Ambassador Christian School on Tuesday and carried off a 16-1 win.
Like Glenn, Forsyth Home Educators also got a great game from a two-way player: Rebecca Cheek. She tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Cheek has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of her three plate appearances with one run and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Madelyn Evans, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs and three RBI. Hannah Ellis was another key player, getting on base in both of her plate appearances with two runs and two RBI.
Glenn's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Forsyth Home Educators, their win bumped their record up to 11-6.
Monday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Glenn hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .333. However, it's not like Forsyth Home Educators struggles in that department as they've averaged .341. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
