Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lovett walked away with it. They walked away with  a   3-1  win over the St. Vincent's Saints  on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Lions sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
 Lovett's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Kate Kennedy, who  had 24  assists and seven  digs. That's the most  digs  Kennedy has posted since back in September.  Ali Wainwright was another key player,  getting 29 assists and eight  digs.
 When it comes to explaining why St. Vincent's lost, don't look at  Sophie Chu-Dy. Despite the final result, she  had 16  digs and two  aces. Chu-Dy is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had 11 or more in each of the last seven games she's  played.
Lovett's win bumped their record up to 40-3. As for St. Vincent's, their defeat dropped their record down to 34-12.
 Coming up, Lovett will face off against Mount Paran Christian on Saturday. St. Vincent's does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
