There's no place like home for Taft, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. Everything went their way against the Blanchet Catholic Cavaliers on Tuesday as they made off with a 12-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won seven games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Taft's win bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Blanchet Catholic, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.

Coincidentally, Taft and Blanchet Catholic will both be playing Yamhill-Carlton the next time they take the field. The Cavaliers will head out to face the Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Tigers will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
