Northern Nash entered their tilt with Southern Nash on Friday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They walked away with a 34-21 victory over the Firebirds. The score was all tied up 14-14 at the break, but the Knights were the (much) better team in the second half.

Southern Nash lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Camron Lyons, who picked up 46 receiving yards and a pair of scores, and also rushed for 72 yards. Jaden Hartsfield was another key player, rushing for 75 yards and one TD.

Northern Nash's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Southern Nash, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-4.

Coming up, Northern Nash will square off against Rocky Mount at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That contest will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Myles Eatmon and Cquarhion Mitchell. Southern Nash does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
