Acton-Boxborough and Wayland are an even 4-4 against one another since January of 2015, but not for long. Shannon Patrick continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 14 rebounds. She hasn't dropped below 15points for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Ana Bitencourt, who scored 16 points.
Wayland kicked off their season on the road back in December of 2023 and hit a couple of potholes. They took a serious blow against Dover-Sherborn, falling 45-16.
Acton-Boxborough's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Wayland, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Acton-Boxborough came up short against Wayland in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, falling 68-62. Can Acton-Boxborough avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
