Broken Bow won against Gothenburg last Thursday with 54 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Broken Bow Indians put the hurt on Valentine with a sharp 54-33 win. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 21 points or more this season.

Valentine lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Paige Sprenger, who posted 13 points and four steals. That was a full 39.4% of Valentine's points, marking the 13th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Benson Aubrey was another key player, putting up four points and six rebounds.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Broken Bow, bringing their record for this year to 12-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.4 points per game. As for Valentine, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-12.

Broken Bow will welcome McCook at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Valentine, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Gothenburg at 6:00 p.m. on February 7th.
