The Ash Fork Spartans's three-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They really took it to Seligman for the full four quarters, racking up a 41-6 win on the road. That looming 41-6 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Ash Fork yet this season.
Ash Fork's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jamie Keele, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Keele has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Crystal Nixon, who scored six points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
Ash Fork's win bumped their record up to 8-15. As for Seligman, they bumped their record down to 0-14 with that defeat, which was their 16th straight at home.
Ash Fork will take on Fredonia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fredonia's defense has only allowed 25.9 points per game this season, so Ash Fork's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Seligman, they will head out on the road to take on Grand Canyon at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Grand Canyon focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Thursday.
