Northern State recap November 13, 2013
New Prairie extended the longest winning streak in Northern State this week by beating South Bend St. Joseph, 28-6. The win marks 12th in a row for the the Cougars.
Glenn fell to Andrean 42-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Zach Combes ran for 72 yards in the defeat.
Glenn's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Falcons feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Daniel Wallace has thrown for 757 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, while Tyler Prentkowski has 17 catches for 350 yards.
New Prairie's Tyler Weller needs only 86 yards against East Chicago Central next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season. Weller has rushed for 914 yards on 73 carries so far this year.
Jimtown made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,659 from 2,346. The improvement was the result of a 42-21 victory over Twin Lakes last week.
