The Westampton Tech Panthers will head out on the road to square off against the Moorestown Friends Foxes at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Westampton Tech is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season.
Westampton Tech fell victim to Seneca and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Golden Eagles, falling 17-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Panthers were not able to get on the board.
Westampton Tech saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dominic Gore-Brown, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.
Meanwhile, Moorestown Friends waltzed into their matchup on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against Camden Academy Charter as they made off with a 12-2 win. The Foxes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by seven runs or more this season.
Justin Lewis was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Lewis was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Moorestown Friends got a massive performance out of Jack Anaya, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Rory Chou was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Moorestown Friends was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .435. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .432 or higher in three consecutive contests.
Moorestown Friends' record is now 8-6. As for Westampton Tech, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-5.
Westampton Tech came out on top in a nail-biter against Moorestown Friends in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, sneaking past 3-1. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Foxes turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
