Everything went their way against Clovis North on Friday as Buchanan made off with a 43-20 victory. The result was nothing new for Buchanan, who have now won four matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.
Among those leading the charge was Gannon Sever, who rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries. Another player making a difference was Hudson Menzes, who threw for 151 yards and two touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes.
Despite the loss, Clovis North still got an impressive performance from Brock Parker, who picked up 37 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Buchanan is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Clovis North, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-3-1.
