Leading Greenville to victory were Katie Campbell and Shayna Henderson. Campbell scored nine points along with 11 rebounds and four steals, while Henderson scored nine points along with nine rebounds and three steals. Henderson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 13 games she's played. Emma Veith was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with six steals.
Greenville is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Centralia, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-7.
Greenville on the road again on Saturday and play against Effingham at 2:30 p.m. on January 20th. Effingham presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Greenville in Illinois (Effingham is ranked 43rd, while Greenville is ranked 144th). As for Centralia, they will be playing at home against Salem at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
