After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Warren East, IMG Academy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the St. Ignatius Wildcats an 11-0 shutout. Considering the None have won eight matchups by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Noah Milburn tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Max Hemenway and Sebastian Wilson did most of the damage at the plate: Hemenway went 1-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Wilson went a perfect 3-for-3 with three doubles, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI Hemenway has posted since back in February. Cy Chrisman was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

IMG Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .577. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. Ignatius only posted an OBP of .211.

IMG Academy's victory bumped their record up to 20-4. As for St. Ignatius, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Coming up, IMG Academy will face off against Badin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the None 3.5, the Rams 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for St. Ignatius, they will head out on the road to challenge Calvary Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight.
