On Friday, Cameron got the W thanks in part to Slaton Pettit playing the best football he has all season. Pettit rushed for 117 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries, and also picked up 45 receiving yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
For the season, Pettit has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 25.8 receiving yards per game.

Joey Wade's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Hundred over Southern
Hundred had to settle for second on Friday, but Joey Wade sure wasn't going down easily. Wade was unstoppable, rushing for 85 yards and a touchdown. His longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards.
Hundred is on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5. Wade's next match is against Paden City on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

Zachary Putnam Makes It Two for Conotton Valley
The second Conotton Valley player making an appearance here is Zachary Putnam, and for good reason. He threw for 163 yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last four games he's played dating back to last season.
Frontier had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Putnam it was a similar story. Putnam threw for 225 yards and four touchdowns on only 16 passes the last time he and the Cougars duked it out back in September of 2023.
