Legacy Charter barely beat Central Florida Christian Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Legacy Charter was the clear victor by a 23-8 margin over Central Florida Christian Academy on Tuesday. Legacy Charter hasn't had any issues with Central Florida Christian Academy recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.
Meanwhile, First Academy never let their opponents score on Monday. Everything went their way against Meadowbrook Academy as they made off with a 20-0 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Eagles needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.
Rebecca Barnett made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Barnett was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. What's more, she posted two hits, the most she's had since back in April of 2025.
In other batting news, First Academy let Ashlyn Neiford and Claire Carlton run wild. Neiford fired off two home runs and six RBI while going 3-for-4, while Carlton got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Those two home runs gave Neiford a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayleigh Collop, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Legacy Charter's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for First Academy, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
