The Bledsoe County Warriors pushed their score all the way to 60 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 65-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sequatchie County. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Bledsoe County of the 45-43 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2023.
Sequatchie County got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ryker Terry out in front who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 13 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Terry has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Beckham Mckendrick, who scored 24 points along with seven rebounds.
Bledsoe County's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Sequatchie County, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-7.
Bledsoe County will head out on the road to square off against Marion County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sequatchie County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
