Grass Lake came out on top against Manchester on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run sixth inning. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over the Flying Dutchmen. Considering the Warriors have won eight contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Grass Lake's fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-1. As for Manchester, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grass Lake will challenge Traverse City West at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Manchester, they will take on Hanover-Horton at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Flying Dutchmen's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Comets have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season.
