Meanwhile, after some red-hot offensive attacks in their last three contests, Amherst finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 53-23 loss at the hands of Gothenburg. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Amherst has scored all season.
Kearney Catholic's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1. As for Amherst, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.
