Mya Hooker put forth a good effort for the losing side as she posted 17 points and three steals. That's the most steals she has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Desiree Rondon, who put up six points along with eight boards and five assists.
Meanwhile, Providence Grove strolled past Eastern Randolph with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 55-36. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.
Trinity better keep an eye on Laurel Bernhardt. She was instrumental in Providence Grove's win, going 8-for-14 en route to 20 points in addition to six assists and six rebounds.
