Halifax Academy's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 28 points in the first half. Northeast Academy wasn't quite able to keep up, scoring 14 to make it 28-14 heading into the break. Halifax Academy were outperformed in the second half 6-14 but had enough points saved up to walk away with the win.
Junior Eli Harris was the offensive standout of the match for Halifax Academy, as he rushed for 340 yards and 4 touchdowns. If you haven't heard Harris's name lately, then you haven't been paying much attention: he has loomed large in their past seven games. Additional support came from defensive powerhouse senior Cameron Podruchny, who racked up 20 tackles.
Halifax Academy have yet to lose this season, and the win brought them up to 7-0. With their first loss of the season, Northeast Academy fell to 6-1.
