Spurger made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Bob Hope, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Everything went the Spurger Pirates' way against the Bob Hope Eagles on Tuesday as the Spurger Pirates made off with a 19-1 victory. The Pirates' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Spurger's win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4-1. As for Bob Hope, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
