After only 24 points in their last matchup, the Cooper City Cowboys made sure to put some points up on the board against the Everglades Gators on Monday. Cooper City simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Everglades 66-31 on the road. For Cooper City, this counts as revenge for the 57-21 loss Everglades walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.
Cooper City's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Eliana Reese, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Reese is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Isabella Riollana, who scored four points along with ten rebounds and six steals.
Cooper City is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season. As for Everglades, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-10.
Cooper City will head out on the road to challenge Nova at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Nova presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Cooper City in Florida (Nova is ranked 66th, while Cooper City is ranked 358th). Everglades does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
