The Chapel Hill Panthers fell victim to the South Paulding Spartans's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 3-0 walloping at the hands of the Spartans. Reese Martin was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on her (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.
Chapel Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
Chapel Hill will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Douglas County at 5:30 p.m. on February 27th. As for South Paulding, they will head out on the road to challenge Hiram at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
