Taravella is 0-6-1 against West Broward since March of 2018 but things could change on Tuesday. The Taravella Trojans will look to defend their home field against the West Broward Bobcats at 6:30 p.m. The last four games Taravella has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
While Taravella's victory against Coral Springs Charter wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Taravella sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over Coral Springs Charter on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won four in a row.

Michael Ghann spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on four hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Zach Stephens, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Anthony Toizol also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
Stephens wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Taravella kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.
Meanwhile, West Broward has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.7 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They lost 12-5 to Stoneman Douglas.
Adrian Bermudez put in work while hitting and pitching. He tossed six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because West Broward is 4-2 when he allows at most two walks, but 1-3 otherwise. Bermudez was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-3. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in March of 2024.
In other batting news, Ethan Lindor made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He is becoming a predictor of West Broward's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 3-1 (and 2-4 when he doesn't).
Taravella's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for West Broward, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.
Taravella might still be hurting after the 10-0 loss they got from West Broward in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Will Taravella have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
