The Scappoose Indians had trouble this past Wednesday, and unfortunately for them, their next opponent is a big step up in difficulty. They are staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Wilsonville Wildcats. The Indians are the clear underdogs, so they're hoping it's the size of the fight that determines this one.
Scappoose ended up a good deal behind St. Helens when they played, losing 47-34.
Meanwhile, Wilsonville faced La Salle in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Wilsonville came up short against La Salle this past Friday, falling 65-55.
Scappoose took a serious blow against Wilsonville in the teams' previous meeting last month, falling 72-31. Can the Indians avenge their defeat, or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll soon find out.
