Petersburg extended the longest winning streak in 1A 6 Man 1 Region I District 2 (6 Man) this week by beating Amherst, 73-26. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Buffaloes.
Paducah's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Dragons feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Cody Austin has thrown for 323 yards and five touchdowns this season, while Austin Parton has 13 catches for 433 yards. Oscar Mathis leads the league in rushing with 509 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Petersburg takes on Spur. Joseph O'Malley's team is in first place, while the Bulldogs are in third place.
