The Glendale Nitros pushed their score all the way to 65 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were the victim of a tough 85-65 loss at the hands of Arcadia. While losing is never fun, Glendale can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 363rd, while Arcadia is ranked 147th).
Arcadia's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mansour Senneh led the charge by scoring 19 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Senneh hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Jaydon Price, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Glendale's defeat dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Arcadia, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 18-7.
Glendale will be playing at home against Pasadena at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Pasadena has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 419 points over their last six matches. As for Arcadia, they will head out on the road to take on Muir at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Muir is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.
